Work step by step in Play View

Play View keeps you focused on one step at a time. Instead of showing the full checklist, it takes you from an introduction through each task to a completion summary. In a custom gym workout, seeing one exercise at a time keeps the rest of the routine from becoming a distraction.

Play View showing a timed checklist task

Run the checklist

  1. Review the introduction and start the session.
  2. Read the task and any notes, assignments, or attachments shown with it.
  3. Enter an answer when the task requires one, or complete the step with the available control.
  4. Use Previous and Next to move through the session.
  5. Review the completion screen when the final step is done.

Parent tasks and subtasks keep their hierarchy, but Play View presents them in order. The routine or template may hide extra task details for a simpler experience.

Timers, rests, and repetitions

A timed task shows Play, Pause, and Resume controls. Checklist pauses the timer when the app is no longer in the foreground, so time does not keep running unnoticed. A task can repeat for several rounds and include a rest between them. When required, finish the timer or answer before moving on.

If you leave early, Checklist keeps the progress it has already saved. Switching views ends the Play session but does not create another checklist.
