Check mobile sync status

Checklist saves many changes on your device first, then sends them when you have a connection. The Sync dialog shows whether the app is online and whether anything is still waiting to sync.

Check sync and connection status

  • Online means the device reports an internet connection; it does not guarantee that every cloud request will succeed.
  • Offline means you cannot refresh or use features that require a connection.
  • Pending changes have not been sent yet. Keep the app open and online so it can finish syncing.

When nothing is pending, use refresh to get the latest data. Refresh may be unavailable while you are offline, changes are waiting to sync, or your account is loading.

Protect pending work

Do not sign out, clear the app's data, or discard pending changes while important edits are waiting. Discard pending change appears only when Checklist identifies a pending change as stuck. After you confirm, it permanently removes that unsent change and may prevent related pending changes from syncing. Use it only when you are sure you do not need the change.

If syncing stays stuck, report the issue before discarding anything and describe the pending status shown in the dialog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does offline work sync automatically later?

Yes. Changes that can be made offline continue syncing when the app is online again. Routines, Trash, and some other features need a connection before you can use them.

What should I do after a sync error?

Reconnect, keep the app open, and retry. Keep the pending changes unless support specifically recommends discarding them.
