  • Choose +10 Minutes or +1 Hour for a near-term deadline.
  • Choose Tomorrow, +1 Week, or +1 Month.
  • Choose Custom to select an exact date and time.
  • Choose Clear to remove the current due date.

The day, week, and month shortcuts use your default notification time, or 9:00 if you have not chosen another time. Custom opens the phone's date-and-time picker.

A wedding checklist may have separate deadlines for venue deposits, invitations, and vendor confirmations. Due dates keep each time-sensitive step visible without changing the checklist's saved order.

Checklist schedules the alert on your device. Whether you see it also depends on your notification permissions and phone settings. A task due date is separate from the schedule that creates checklists from a routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I not receive an alert?

Confirm that notifications are allowed for Checklist in the phone's Settings and that the due time is still in the future. The due date can remain on the task even when device notifications are disabled.
