Run a routine
Run a routine when you are ready to use its steps. Checklist creates a new checklist for this occasion and leaves the routine ready to use again.

Start a run
- Open Routines and press Play beside the routine, or open the routine and choose its run action.
- Review the proposed checklist name.
- Select More options to edit the checklist notes, owners, or assignees.
- Confirm the run.
- Open the new checklist and work through it in its default view.
Give the checklist a name that distinguishes this run, especially if you use the routine often. The new checklist has its own progress, answers, dates, notes, and members. Later changes to the routine do not affect it.
Running a routine requires an internet connection and a team role that allows routine runs. After the account's one free routine run, running routines requires Plus or higher. Assignment choices include only people who can be selected in the team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why did running create a checklist?
The routine holds the reusable steps. Each run needs a separate checklist to record the work and progress for that occasion.
Where do I change the standard steps?
Edit the routine when a change should apply to future runs. Edit the new checklist only when the change belongs to this occasion.
