Add checklist notes

Use checklist notes for information that applies to the whole checklist, such as an address, general instructions, or background everyone should know.

Add, edit, or clear checklist notes

Open the checklist menu and select Checklist notes. Then:

• Enter or edit multi-line notes.
• Select Save to keep the current text.
• Select Clear to empty the editor, then save the change.
• Select Cancel or dismiss the dialog to leave without saving the current edits.

Use checklist notes for information shared by all steps. If information belongs to only one step, use task notes instead.

In a travel checklist, checklist notes might hold the destination address or general trip instructions that apply to everyone. A note about one specific step belongs in that task instead.

Checklist may remove extra blank space from the beginning or end of a note when you save it. Links in displayed notes open in the app's browser.
