Choose a checklist view

Checklist, Form, and Play views offer different ways to work through the same steps. When more than one is available, use the view switcher to choose the one that fits the work.

Compare the views

  • Checklist View shows the full task hierarchy and editing controls. Use it to add, organize, assign, and complete tasks in a flexible list.
  • Form View puts answer fields into a scrollable form. It works well for inspections and other checklists that collect information.
  • Play View guides you through one step at a time. Use it for focused procedures, timers, rests, and repeated steps.

The routine or template decides which views are available and which one opens first. If the checklist has only one view, the switcher is hidden.

Switching views does not create a copy. Every view uses the same checklist, progress, and answers. Finish editing the current answer before switching so Checklist can save it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I not see Form or Play View?

The original routine or template may not include that view, or your app version may not support it. Use one of the views shown in the switcher.

Does changing views reset progress?

No. Completion and answers belong to the checklist. Each view presents the same work in a different way.
