Add task attachments
Attach an image when a task needs a visual reference, such as a photo of the expected result or the item being inspected.
Add or view task attachments
Open the task menu and select Attach. If a paperclip already appears on the task, tap it to open the first attachment.
- Select an existing attachment to view it.
- Select Pick a File to choose an image from the device picker.
- Select Take a Picture to use the camera, review the photo, and save it.
- Select the delete button beside an attachment to remove it.
A home inspection checklist might include photos of a crack, leak, damaged fitting, or expected result. Attach each photo to the task it documents.
You need an internet connection to upload, open from cloud storage, or delete an attachment. Keep Checklist open until an upload finishes.
Checklist may ask for access to your camera or images. If you denied camera access, enable it in your phone's settings and try again. Take a Picture is available only when the device has a working camera.
Deleting an attachment does not ask for a second confirmation. Attachments are also left behind when you move or copy a task.

Why did my upload not appear?
Check your connection and try again without leaving the app. If you used the camera, make sure Checklist has camera access. You can also choose the saved image from the device picker.
Can I move an attachment with its task?
No. The current move/copy flow does not include attachments. Add the required image again in the destination checklist.
