Manage team settings

Team settings let authorized owners and managers rename the selected team. The same screen may also show a Leave action for an eligible non-owner member.

Rename the team

Choose a short name that people can distinguish from personal work or other teams. Renaming changes the label in the app. It does not move checklists, change their owners, or create another team.

Only an owner or manager with permission can change shared settings. If the name field is missing, check that you selected the right team and ask its owner for help.

Leave the team

Leaving removes your membership and the access that comes with it. Before you confirm:

• shared checklists may disappear from your app;
• transfer any assignments or ownership that someone else needs;
• remember that you cannot undo the action yourself;
• if you are the owner, you may need to transfer control before you can leave.

If you only want to stop seeing one checklist, ask its owner to remove you from that checklist instead of leaving the whole team.

You need an internet connection to leave a team.
