Duplicate a checklist
Duplicate a checklist when you need another one-time copy that you can change without affecting the original.

Duplicate the checklist
Open the checklist menu and select Duplicate Checklist. Checklist gives the copy a new name, puts it in the same folder as the original when applicable, and opens it for you.
Rename the copy, reopen completed tasks, remove steps, or make any other changes needed for the new occasion.
After planning one event, you might duplicate a birthday party checklist for a second party that uses similar steps but needs its own dates, guests, and progress.
The two checklists are independent. Changes to the copy do not affect the original, and later changes to the original do not update the copy.
Duplicating a checklist requires an internet connection and Plus, and is not available to guests. If you need another plan, the app explains the requirement before creating the copy.
Use duplication when you need one more copy. If you expect to repeat the process, turn the checklist into a routine instead.
