Disneyland Park, not the whole resort

This is the ride list for Disneyland Park in California. Disney California Adventure is a separate park with a separate lineup; track those experiences in the California Adventure rides checklist. Rides with similar names at Magic Kingdom in Florida can have different height requirements and experiences; use the Magic Kingdom rides checklist for that park.

Choose experiences, not just the biggest thrills

Fantasyland brings together compact story rides such as Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan’s Flight. Tomorrowland includes Space Mountain, Autopia and Star Tours, while Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance. Boats, trains and the Main Street Vehicles are included alongside roller coasters, so your record can reflect the whole visit rather than only thrill rides.

Use the descriptions and experience fields to distinguish a dark ride from an intense one. A slow-moving attraction can still have loud sounds, darkness or startling scenes. The listed experience features are positive observations, not a promise that every unlisted effect is absent. Official sensory information may include the queue. Setting describes the main experience, not guaranteed shelter while waiting.

Read the height rule for the California ride

Disneyland’s Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad each have a 40-inch minimum. Autopia has a 32-inch minimum, but a rider below 54 inches needs someone at least 54 inches tall. Children under seven must also be accompanied by someone aged 14 or older. The Boarding details field retains these separate conditions instead of treating minimum height as the only boarding rule.

Heights are recorded in the units Disney publishes. A blank numeric field does not mean zero: the Height rule field distinguishes Any Height from a rule that has not been established.

Keep your old favorites in your history

This checklist contains 37 current ride entries and 27 retired experiences. Retired rows let you record visits to attractions such as the Skyway, PeopleMover and Splash Mountain without suggesting you can ride them today. Permanent replacements get separate entries; seasonal versions such as Haunted Mansion Holiday stay with the base attraction.

Current means part of the ride roster, not a live operating status. Check Disneyland’s official attraction directory for your visit date. This is a ride tracker, not a complete schedule of shows, parades and character appearances.

Get ready for your park day

Keep the ride record separate from your trip preparation. Use the Disney packing checklist for what to take and the Disney vacation checklist for planning tasks.

How to use

Check the rides you have experienced, then save your checklist to keep updating it. Retired entries can record past visits. Choose Save & Compare when you want a group in which each person updates their own copy. Open a ride’s notes for its description; consult its fields for height rules, boarding details and availability.

Disneyland California Rides Checklist Frequently Asked Questions

How many rides are on this Disneyland California checklist?

This checklist has 37 current ride entries and 27 retired experiences. Counts treat seasonal overlays, multiple stations and vehicle variants as part of the same attraction. They do not include every show, parade, walkthrough or character experience, and they are not a count of rides operating on a particular day.

Is this the same list as Disney California Adventure?

No. This list covers Disneyland Park in Anaheim. Disney California Adventure is the neighboring park with its own rides. A Disneyland Resort visit may include both, depending on your ticket, but they should not be mixed into one park’s ride count.

Which Disneyland rides have no minimum height?

Disney lists Any Height for attractions including Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan’s Flight and “it’s a small world.” Any Height does not remove accompaniment or other boarding requirements. The Height rule field distinguishes these attractions from historical rides whose height rules are unknown.

Do Disneyland and Magic Kingdom have the same height requirements?

Not always. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has a 40-inch minimum at Disneyland and a 38-inch minimum at Magic Kingdom. Space Mountain is 40 inches at Disneyland and 44 inches at Magic Kingdom. Check the rule for the specific park rather than transferring a familiar ride’s requirement.

Should I check off Haunted Mansion Holiday separately?

This checklist keeps seasonal overlays with their base attraction, so Haunted Mansion Holiday counts under Haunted Mansion. It likewise keeps alternate routes, stations and vehicle variants together. Permanently replaced experiences, such as Splash Mountain and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, have separate rows so your past visits remain meaningful.
