Choose a different kind of adventure in each land

Cars Land combines the racing finale of Radiator Springs Racers with the weaving vehicles of Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and the swinging trailers of Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Those are three different experiences, not interchangeable driving rides. Check their descriptions before deciding which to prioritize.

Pixar Pier mixes the high-speed Incredicoaster with Toy Story Midway Mania! and smaller circular rides. Pixar Pal-A-Round has fixed-position and swinging gondolas; that choice matters even though both belong to the same attraction. Avengers Campus adds the vertical movement of Mission: BREAKOUT! and the interactive action of WEB SLINGERS.

Compare the movement, not just the minimum height

A published minimum is one useful planning field. Ride type and experience details explain more: Grizzly River Run involves rapids and water, Soarin’ uses suspended seating and a projection dome, and The Little Mermaid follows musical scenes in clamshell vehicles. Open individual entries for boarding details rather than treating a low threshold as a measure of intensity.

Keep your California Adventure history

California Screamin’, Tower of Terror and the rides of a bug’s land remain available as retired entries. Their replacements are separate experiences, so an old completion does not automatically become a new one. Announced additions such as Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab are marked upcoming, not included as rides available today.

Visiting with young children

Children under 7 need a companion aged 14 or older to board attractions. Height is only one requirement; check the individual entry and follow posted boarding instructions.

Pair the two Anaheim parks

California Adventure is a separate park from Disneyland Park. Keep your other Anaheim adventures in the Disneyland California rides checklist, and use the Disney vacation checklist for trip preparation.

Who it's for

Visitors planning California Adventure, families comparing ride movement and requirements, and returning Disney fans keeping a record across different versions of the park.

How to use

  1. Check the experiences you have already tried, then save your checklist to keep your progress.
  2. Use the table fields to compare the experiences that interest you. Open a name for its description and additional details.
  3. Keep completed visits separate from future plans: a tick records an experience you have done, not a reservation or a live operating status.
  4. Choose Save & Compare to create a group with friends or family. Everyone updates their own checklist, so you can compare progress without changing each other’s answers.
  5. Return to your saved checklist after your visit and check off your new experiences. Keep earlier completions when an attraction closes or is replaced.

Disney California Adventure Rides Checklist Frequently Asked Questions

Is California Adventure the same park as Disneyland?

No. Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park are separate theme parks at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. This list covers California Adventure; use the linked Disneyland California checklist for the neighboring park.

Which California Adventure rides are in Cars Land?

This list includes Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Cars Land’s retired Luigi’s Flying Tires is also retained for visitors who rode its earlier experience.

Does Pixar Pal-A-Round have different gondolas?

Yes. It offers fixed-position and swinging gondolas. They are options within one attraction here, not two separate checklist completions. Read the ride details and choose the option that suits your group.

Are California Screamin’ and the Incredicoaster the same checklist entry?

No. California Screamin’ is retained as a retired experience and the Incredicoaster has its own entry. The same distinction preserves visits to Tower of Terror separately from Mission: BREAKOUT!.

Can I compare my California Adventure rides with friends?

Yes. Choose Save & Compare to create a group based on this checklist. Each person keeps their own completed rides, and the group shows your progress together.
