- Duties Before the Wedding
- Offer services to the groom to help organize the wedding.
- Arrange for the bachelors dinner and, or party.
- Help pick out the tuxes.
- Make sure the groom has all the accessories for his outfit.

- Read telegrams or special mail for the bride and groom.
- Dance with the bride's mother and bridesmaids.
