Explore EPCOT by neighborhood

World Discovery brings together Cosmic Rewind, Test Track and Mission: SPACE, but their movement is very different: a rotating indoor coaster, an accelerating test car and enclosed spacecraft simulators. World Nature offers the boat journey through Living with the Land, the simulated flight of Soarin’ Across America and The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

World Celebration includes Spaceship Earth and Journey Into Imagination With Figment. Around World Showcase, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Gran Fiesta Tour add story-based rides to a day of exploring the pavilions. The FriendShip Boats across World Showcase Lagoon are included as a transport experience, not a separate ride for every dock.

Look beyond a single thrill label

Mission: SPACE offers different mission versions, including a spinning Mars mission and a gentler Earth-orbit mission. Frozen Ever After moves both backward and forward and includes short waterfalls. Living with the Land is a greenhouse and agricultural boat journey. The notes and fields help you distinguish those experiences without reducing every boat or simulator to the same thing.

Remember the EPCOT you visited

Horizons, World of Motion, Maelstrom and other retired experiences have their own entries. The original Dreamfinder version, Journey Into Your Imagination and today’s Figment experience are not collapsed into one completion. That makes the list useful for longtime visitors as well as a first trip.

Visiting with young children

Children under 7 need a companion aged 14 or older to board attractions. Height is only one requirement; check the individual entry and follow posted boarding instructions.

Continue around Walt Disney World

Keep the parks separate when planning: explore the Magic Kingdom rides checklist, Hollywood Studios rides checklist and Animal Kingdom rides checklist for their own lineups.

Who it's for

EPCOT first-timers choosing between ride styles, families planning around requirements, and returning visitors who want to keep both current and historical ride memories.

How to use

  1. Check the experiences you have already tried, then save your checklist to keep your progress.
  2. Use the table fields to compare the experiences that interest you. Open a name for its description and additional details.
  3. Keep completed visits separate from future plans: a tick records an experience you have done, not a reservation or a live operating status.
  4. Choose Save & Compare to create a group with friends or family. Everyone updates their own checklist, so you can compare progress without changing each other’s answers.
  5. Return to your saved checklist after your visit and check off your new experiences. Keep earlier completions when an attraction closes or is replaced.

EPCOT Rides Checklist Frequently Asked Questions

How many EPCOT rides are included?

The checklist contains 23 entries: 12 current experiences and 11 retired experiences. The current set includes the FriendShip Boats on World Showcase Lagoon. Shows, restaurants and every pavilion activity are not counted as rides.

Does this list cover all of EPCOT’s attractions?

It focuses on rides and passenger transport. Films, performances, exhibits and other pavilion experiences can fill much of an EPCOT day, but they are not all represented as ride completions here.

Are the two Mission: SPACE missions separate entries?

No. They are versions within one attraction. The details distinguish the spinning Mars mission from the gentler Earth-orbit mission so you can make the choice without counting the same attraction twice.

Can I keep track of EPCOT rides that no longer exist?

Yes. Retired entries such as Horizons, Maelstrom and Body Wars remain available. They preserve past visits without suggesting those experiences can be ridden today.

Does a ride marked current mean it is open right now?

No. Current describes the attraction’s place in the park lineup, not live operation or wait time. Check the park’s operating information before heading to a ride; your completed checkmarks remain your personal visit record.
