Pomodoro Focus Session

Introduction

Choose one task, work on it for 25 minutes and take a five-minute break. Before stopping, leave yourself a note about where to pick up next time.

Prefer guided mode? Try Play - answer one question at a time in full screen view.

Name a result small enough to work on now, such as outlining one section or solving a set of practice questions.
Put unrelated tabs and messages aside. Keep a place to jot down interruptions without switching tasks.
Use the 25-minute timer. If an unrelated thought arrives, jot it down and return to the task. If you finish early, review the work rather than opening an unrelated task.
Leave a short note in your work or checklist comments so restarting is easy.
Step away from the task for five minutes. Resume only if another session fits your time and energy.

Choose something you can start now

Pick a specific piece of work, such as drafting an opening paragraph or solving a set of practice questions. Open the materials you need before starting the timer.

If something unrelated comes to mind, jot it down and return to the task. When the interval ends, record what you finished and where to continue.

Run another session when you are ready

The saved Template contains one work interval and one break. Start a new run for another session. You can change the timer values in your saved template if different durations suit you.
