Save
Mane and Tail
Apply shampoo and conditioner to your horse's mane and tail.
Use a comb, rather than a brush, to prevent hair breakage.
Braid his tail and put it in a tube sock to keep it clean.
Apply a spray-on coat conditioner for extra shine and brush his tail vigorously.
Face and Ears
Clip your horse's nose, eyes, ears, chin and bridle path.
Check and trim any stray hairs.
Thoroughly bathe your horse.
Wipe baby oil over his ear, nose and eye areas to add shine.
Run a clean rag over his face to remove any dirt or sweat.
Hair Coat
Provide xcellent nutrition.
Regularly deworm.
After every workout, bathe your horse.
Feet and Legs
Clip your horse legs.
Use a sanding block on each hoof to create an even surface.
After the polish dries, apply hoof polish enhancer.
Wash your horse's white legs.
Wait until he's completely dry and apply baby powder on his legs to enhance whiteness.
Apply polo wraps from his knees to his coronet bands.

Has healthy wall tissues in the hooves.
The hooves should be smooth and clean with no cracks.
