Beach & Yard Cleaning Checklist

STAIRS IN FRONT AND BACK OF HOME:  Sweep or use hose to remove sand and dirt

"Poop" needs to be cleaned out of the ocean in front of house for at least the first three feet!

BEACH CLEANING:  Be sure Beach has been cleaned from Pirate’s View (light blue house) to the end of Michelle’s house (white picket fence) – free from trash, raked from seagrass, and gulches filled-in.  Sometimes it's easiest to haul junk away in wheelbarrow to empty lot east of us.

BEACH FIXING:  Use shovel to fill in gulches with sand where rain messes it up.

BEACH ROAD & WALKWAY:  Make sure front of homes are also cleaned, remove trash, make nice (no need to remove all leaves from walkway, but make sure NO GARBAGE, etc.)

GROUNDS:  Remove all leaves, almonds, sand, dirt, etc.

PLANTS:  Make sure dead or overhanging branches are trimmed away.  Water plants if dry season.

WALLS:  Remove as much gecko “poop” as you can reach.
