  • Not the most important, but at least a sleeping bag and a pillow are recommended if you want to be comfortable
    • For longer campouts this is more important than shorter ones
    • Only if you have earned your totin' chip
    • Only if you have earned your fireman' chit
    • Good for hanging up clothes at longer campouts
    • Only if your tent needs one
    • Good for sitting
  • Scout appropriate
    • Good to have AT LEAST the shirt for flag ceremonies, car rides, & scouting events
    • Scout-Appropriate
    • Don't bring these to colder campouts (they will just take up space)
    • Definitely don't want to forget these!
    • Bring AT LEAST one more pair than the number of days at camp. Extra socks will never hurt!
    • For around the site.
    • Important for rank work
    • If there is a beach/pool, bring one beach towel and one bath towel
    • Turn into your scoutmaster/medical officer
    • Good for holding dirty clothes
    • Only bring these if there is a lake or pool to swim in.
    • Does your campout need these?
    • Are you doing Merit Badges at camp?
    • For members of the OA
