Trees and Shrubs
During mild winter, you can still plant fruit trees, shade trees and flowering trees.
When temperatures are below freezing, plant new evergreens, rose bushes and deciduous shrubs.
Prune shrubs and deciduous shade trees.
When noticing new buds on deciduous trees, give them last shot of dormant spray.
Keep up with raking.
If you have snowfall, knock snow off the branches of evergreens and fine-branched deciduous trees.
