Attend an enrolment information session.

Get your student ID card.

Get to know other first-year students.

Get a student perspective on study from senior students.

Get to know your campus.

Check university website where you can access all university information.

Buy your necessary textbooks and other equipment prior to the first week of formal classes.

If you're coming from interstate or overseas, make sure you have accommodation lined up.

If you're planning on catching public transport to class, work out which buses, trains or trams you will catch.

Work out which parking facilities you'll use if you're driving into university.

If you plan to work part-time, determine how much work you can fit in with your course choices.

Set up a study area at home or determine which on-campus computer suites you'll use.
